Recently we’ve all been surrounded by death and it seems that all we hear on the news is of the bad in the world; so I have decided to upload this song in honour of all of the loved ones lost. I best share my emotions through my music and I know many find comfort in music, especially this song. I hope I am able to share with you all a little piece of me in this and I hope some of you are able to find comfort in this. This is for anyone and everyone that is hurting right now, for any reason. Because of my most recent text post, my lovely friend Susan asked me what I’m passionate about. I figure it is appropriate to share here.
Well, as you know I’m very passionate about equality, not just as far as marriage and not just when it comes to LGBQT. I’m passionate about equality for all humans.
That ones probably the most obvious even for those that hardly know me. haha
Music. I’m passionate about making music. It’s what I love to do. There are so many good things about it.It’s a way of venting, sharing, bonding, relaxing. It’s just nice.Especially uke. I love my little baby uke!
I’m passionate about love. I love seeing people in love. I love seeing a person so invested into another. Caring so much. Giving so much. It’s beautiful.
and I’m passionate about invoking strong emotions in others. When I see that I’ve made someone genuinely happy I just feel good. That is the best feeling in the world, to me. To know that someone feels good because of something I did or said makes me feel incredible. Especially when it comes to laughter, I love making people laugh. It also works the other way though! Not that I love to make people sad, I remember when I was in a musical a couple years ago I had a line where I got really mad at my sister and yelled at her and called her an “Old Maid” and the whole audience gasped. There was so much tension and emotion in the room because of something I had done. It was awesome to know I had that kind of power. To know that I made people feel so strongly as to genuinely gasp out in sadness.
I just love making people feel.
